Plans for Evangelization Form A National M E Church Body
Methodist Episcopal divines and laymen from across the country met to outline a permanent evangelizing organization. Pittsburg reports show 23 M E churches and 7,100 members, 26 Sunday schools with 8,512 scholars, no missions, and a debt margin only for new churches. The local union seeks about £30,000 to assist weaker churches.
