Mr and Mrs John A Moore of Walnut street East End have gone South for extended trip through Florida and Cuba. Mr Tom Pickering and daughter Miss Alice Pickering leave for the East this evening on business. Mrs Albert C Isaac of Allegheny returned home after two weeks visit to Washington DC and Old Point Comfort VA. health improved by trip.

Pittsburg Schools Plan Exhibit For Local Exposition

The Pittsburg Central Board committee voted to prepare a school exhibit similar to the Paris display for the Pittsburg Exposition next September. An appropriation under $1,000 will be requested, with local boards covering material costs. Work starts in June with students visiting the Exposition during the first four weeks and a half each day except Saturday from 9 AM to 3 PM.

P C A Camp 2 Pittsburg Sees 21 Initiates At Meeting

The P. C. A. Camp 2 Pittsburg plans 21 initiates at its next gathering. A new Erie degree commandery formed at Wheeling on February 2 with 60 members. Efforts target 500 acres around Valley Forge for a national park. In the year 109 camps were started in the state, lifting membership by over 10,000. New camps chartered at Wilkes Barre DuBois Millville Cooksburg Monroeton and Pennsylvania Furnace. Recent states added Iowa Utah Wisconsin Minnesota Tennessee Delaware Nebraska. Kansas Indiana and Minnesota are being organized. An open meeting occurred at Camp 333 Allegheny City Monday evening. The aim is seven camps in this region with 600 members, rising to 1,200 by August.
