Death case linked to mind reader bishop autopsy trial adjourned
New York June 3 case against Dr. Ferguson John Irwin and Irwin Hyacer for illegal dissection adjourned to June 28 due to defendant absence. Victim Wash ington Irving Bishop mind reader died May 13 1889 after an autopsy by Ferguson with Irwin and Hance as assistants. Bishop's mother claims he was alive during autopsy and seeks trial for the doctors.
