Sheriff Heffron of Schoolcraft County arrested them in Seney and escorted them toward Manistique. The Harcourts were in Nevins saloon when Dunn spoke with Frank Peters. James Harcourt fired five shots, killing Dunn in two minutes. The sheriff then took the murderer and his prisoners to court belongings.
