Plunge Of 4 Train Destroys Cars South Of Mt Carmel
At 11 o'clock today the Cairo and Vincennes north bound passenger train No 2 plunged two miles south of Mt Carmel into a ten foot embankment. Twelve to fifteen passengers were seriously injured. The tiger train was traveling about 35 miles an hour when it left the track. Most passengers were extricated by axes from the wreckage.
