Tracks for Squirrel Hill line to be widened in Troy

Cars for the Squirrel Hill electric line were shipped to Troy New York yesterday to be widened to standard gauge at the builder’s expense. Herron Sues Street Railway for Damages Over Accident

James Herron and his wife Rachael filed suits against the Pittsburg Knoxville and St Clair Street Railway Company seeking 3000 pounds for the husband and 15000 dollars for the wife. They allege Mrs Herron sustained severe injuries when a car on the defendant's line derailed on Piue Street on August 2, causing a violent shake to passengers.

Baby Farming Exposed in Mansfield Case Trial

Trial before Judge Slagle centers on Mrs. Matil a Metler and her mother Mrs. Quillan for operating a baby farm in Mansfield. The will of the late Mrs. Sarah J. Reed of Sewickley was filed for probate. Bequests go to relatives and 500 dollars to the United Presbyterian Church Board of Church Extension. Interesting bank suit over dishonored check at City Deposit Bank

Frank Killian of the East End sues City Deposit Bank for damages claiming the bank wrongfully refused payment on his check. A bank error occurred when a deposit was not entered on the bank books though it existed on the depositor’s ledger. Horne sues Boyd for 35000 damages in false arrest case

Charles Horne filed suit against A W Boyd for 35000 damages claiming false arrest after a confectionery business dispute at the Lacock and Federal streets corner in Allegheny. The prior embezzlement charge against Horne by Boyd was dismissed at Magistrate Gripp’s hearing.
