Old Resident George Free Dies at 74 in First Ward

George Free, 74, longtime First Ward resident and German immigrant, died at his home 10 First Street after 62 years in the area. He was father to Captain George J. Free and Henry and Tillman Free and Mrs. John McNulty. Mayor Pearson received a pair of horns claimed from a South American king’s herd, measuring 94 inches.
