Wetmore Gusher Rocks McDonald Field With High Oil Flows

Reports from the Wetmore farm detail the Goffey and Queen wells producing 150 to 200 barrels per hour, with rapid gains to 190 to 750 barrels daily in nearby sites. Contractors Coe, Seibert, Forst, Greenlee, and Koerner Westhead are active across McDonald and Laurel Hill, drilling, rigging, and testing multiple sands. The region around Sistersville, Harmony Zelienople, and surrounding fields shows heavy activity as operators chase pay streaks, while treacherous Camden-like soils complicate many attempts.
