A double murder at Praat's mines near Birmingham Alabama today left Mrs J S Kellan and her year old son dead. A young Black man lured them into the woods struck Mrs Kellan with a stick and killed the child with a blow to the skull. A posse pursued the suspect who fled into the woods as hounds joined the search.
