Oliver White of No. Wis Edwards alley Southside was arrested and jailed on cruelty and neglect charges brought by his wife Sarah with guidance from Humane Society Agent O'Brien. White allegedly fails to provide for his family, drinks, and mistreats them. He escaped during transport but was recaptured after a chase from Twenty second and Carson streets. Local business men were unsure who owned the business or its recent ownership change.

This large ward demands extensive work and many reductions are expected as the revisers proceed.
