Drunkenness as Murder Trial Opens in County Court

Jan Janoski stands trial for alleged murder of Casper Tomezk after a Christmas gathering at 03 Manor street Southeide. Prosecution led by District Attorney Burle ith. defense by Gosser and Bowens. Witnesses claim both men were drinking. defense argues deceased was heavily intoxicated. Trial resumes soon as jury selected.

Will of Gen McClelland Probate Details 1699

The will of General William McClelland, dated September 14 1699, was filed for probate. Two thousand dollars from a ten thousand dollar Mutual Reserve Life policy goes to Mrs Adam Canfield for the Foster children, with secondary benefit to Mrs Canfield. Other bequests include two hundred to Mrs Kate Hammer, two hundred to the Misses Mackeown, and two hundred to Mrs Miranda Allen for years of care. If any beneficiary predeceases, funds go to Mrs Mary Winter. Remaining estate goes to his mother in East Palestine Ohio, with Rev T W Winter as executor.

Injured Passenger Sues Citizens' Traction for 20000 Damages

Hannah Wilson files suit against Citizens' Traction Company claiming personal injuries from a November 1 accident at Butler and seventh streets when car No. 10 collided with a wagon.
