In Wheeling February 5 Van B Baker the convicted murderer of his wife and mother in law in Hancock county asked an officer to arrest Erih Forsythe a reputed thief. Forsythe and Baker played poker last night and won all. Forsythe claims cards were marked. Baker, allowed to stay in the corridor as turnkey, threatened to kill Forsythe if the money is not returned.
Berlin correspondent reports the United States Government has consented to continue the Samoan conference in Berlin, with authorities indicating the talks will proceed there.

A committee was formed to negotiate with the Constitutional Amendment Association while a rival plan sought a joint convention. A wage scale readjustment is likely. winter rate 70 cents a ton and summer rate 65 cents, with a proposed year round compromise around 67 14 cents.
The body of Gustave A. F. Friedericks editor of the Pittsburg Folkschatt was moved from Bellevue Hospital to Hart Island for potter's field burial due to a body mix up. Friends alerted officials and the planned interment was halted to prevent the grave from being opened.
Mrs Benjamin Harrison and her daughter Mrs McKee left New York at 7 tonight on a special train from Jersey City Pennsylvanian depot heading to Indianapolis. They stayed at Whitelaw Reid's house until 5:30 this afternoon entertaining callers then rode to the station with Mr Reid and Mr Russell Harrison. Reid hosted a supper Monday night in Mrs Harrison's honor and guests included Russell Harrison and Mr W J Arkell. The Montana Territory governor appointed Russell, son of the President elect, as a centennial missioner to remain here as a resident.
