Heiser Trial Closes With Defense Emphasis on Provocation

In Criminal Court yesterday the trial of Andrew Heiser for the death of Charles Wilson concluded. Prosecution presented witnesses including Joseph Haller and Mrs Ann Hadley who testified Wilson’s remarks and ensuing quarrel with Heiser. The defense argued Heiser acted under great fear and provocation, claiming the act was justifiable due to Wilson’s aggression and Heiser’s crippled state. The jury deliberated and the court reconvened to receive the verdict.
