Dairy Building Completed at Pinehurst Farm
The Pinehurst Dairy Farm completes a new dairy building to be ready by year end. The facility will handle milk and cream in a modern, airy plant with many windows and four dormers for ventilation. Concrete floors and rounded joints allow easy cleaning, with graded cattle platforms, rear cesspool drainage, auto watering, four box stalls per barn, and capacity for 100 head. Cattle receive grooming twice daily and stable washing each morning, with cows tuberculin tested twice yearly.
