Fresh goods and arrivals at Pinehurst and local stores
A varied local scene reports fresh pickled items and hams at the Department Store, brisk freight at Pinehurst station with shifting engines and many loaded cars, and many visitors arriving for the season. The village notes several new guests at the Lenox and Casino, a blaze near the water wheel, and plans for music, concerts, and church choirs led by Mr. Alfred D. St. Clair, a noted vocalist and teacher, who will manage entertainments and a vocal studio this season.
