Pinehurst Nurseries Expands and Promotes Global Seeds
The Pinehurst Nurseries have enlarged their operation since last May, now run as a standalone business. They ship plants and seeds worldwide, grow winter salads under glass, and maintain a greenhouse with flowering plants and bulbs. The nurseries cover about thirty acres along the Aberdeen and Asheboro railroad, with annual shipments reaching 100000 plants plus strong prospects for more. Visitors can tour the grounds, view an arboretum, and learn about seed collecting from nationwide collectors.
