Little Miss Thomas Wins Debutante’s Championship at J Club
The Kiam Hi meet featured two dramatic finishes. Little Miss Thomas led Rex to capture the debutantes purse as Mabel Bliss, Esther Tufts, and Eleanor Abbe trailed. In the flat race Little Horn, Miriam H., Garth, and Kinder Lou contested a spectacular wattled finish with Wanamaker’s ride pushing Garth to a final bid. A trainer fall by Whitlock in the hurdle race preceded Ridgeway’s quick pass of George and Smith. Dze ron by J L King won both heats against Are Amm Bee and Walter C. Rosalie and Hatto also claimed wins in their events. An exhibition by Bodo von Deutche Etwas capped the day before an excerpt continues.
