Pinehurst Horse Show Opens April Fifth and Sixth
The Pinehurst Horse Show will run April 5 and 6 at the Jockey Club grounds with 25 classes. Entries pour in from local and distant breeders as judges including J Macy Willets and James Maddox prepare to evaluate blue-blooded Thoroughbreds. Officials led by Leonard Tufts organize entries and prizes for a program of polo ponies, saddle horses, hunters and trotting classes, with substantial trophies and prize money for top finishers.
