A brilliant thirty six hole final at Brookline sees George H. Crocker of Brookline Country Club beat George E. Morse of Rutland in a two up with two to play finish, thanks to a decisive two on the 35th. Morse had fought back with several halved and won holes but Crocker held on to claim the seventh annual Spring world’s record tournament crown.
