Crocker Defeats Morse In World’s Record Spring Golf Final

A brilliant thirty six hole final at Brookline sees George H. Crocker of Brookline Country Club beat George E. Morse of Rutland in a two up with two to play finish, thanks to a decisive two on the 35th. Morse had fought back with several halved and won holes but Crocker held on to claim the seventh annual Spring world’s record tournament crown.

Spring Cotillion Delights at The Carolina Music Hall

Novelty and surprise marked the annual Spring Cotillion at The Carolina Music Hall as guests enjoyed elaborate decorations led by an artificial moon scene. Dances featured new numbers with floral garlands, lanterns, and flags, plus playful acts like a Davy Crockett targets game, while Miss Crockett and others drew cheers for grace and charm.
