Whittemore Wins Spring Golf Tourney Big Field
Parker W. Whittemore of Brookline Country Club triumphed in the Spring tournament beating F. C. Newton 5 and 4 to claim the first division trophy in a 346-contest field. Whittemore reached the final by defeating L. A. Hamilton. Newton beat B. P. Merriman in the other semi. The event featured strong scoring and a wide field, with Parson and Hotchkiss also capturing trophies in other divisions.
