Mr. Creamer of Charlevoix with Miss Locker of Washington won the Tin Whistles mixed foursomes on Wednesday with a net 80 in a 25-couple field. Second place was tied among three pairs as the social golf event drew a large gallery and marked keen play.
An afternoon progressive bridge party at The Carolina benefited the Dickinson Colored School. Sixteen tables competed with handicaps of twenty four, tying for second at eighty five each. J. E. Porter and Mrs. Herbert L. Jillson posted eighty six net, with T. R. Newbold and Miss Mary Dutton at eighty seven for best gross. Tea followed, about fifty dollars netted, prizes of silver and bronze medals awarded, donors listed, and committee led by Mrs. W F Wilson and others organized the event.
The annual Club Championship golf tournament is underway with a large, evenly matched field. The OuT LOOK notes the strong competition and wide player turnout as play continues.
