Pinehurst social whirl features governors and guests
Former New Jersey governor James F. Fielder and Mrs. Fielder visit the Carolina as North Carolina's Gov Thomas W. Bickett stays several days. Tea, dances, riding parties, and a New Year’s Eve dinner highlight a week of Pinehurst social life with many guests from Southern Pines and Holyoke.
