Henry St John Smith of Portland Maine won the third annual St Valentine tournament for women defeating Mrs G H Converse of Boston three up and two to play in the final. Smith beat Mrs J C Bates Dana of Great Barrington in the semi finals and Converse won on the nineteenth green from Mrs William West of Camden New Jersey.
