St Valentine Golf Tourney Ends With Perrin Victory
H W Perrin of Merion Cricket and Golf Club Philadelphia dominates the sixth annual St Valentine Golf Tournament in Philadelphia. He defeats Walter Travis in the semi finals three up two to play and edges Henry Fownes in the final rounds. Travis falters with short putts and poor tee shots while Perrin shines with spectacular approach work and clutch finishes on the twelfth to fifteenth holes.
