Golf Rationing Calls for Cards at Monifieth Links
A British plan to ration golf on member owned courses spreads to Monifieth in Forfarshire where each member receives a card with a serial number and spaces to stamp after every round. Once all spaces are used, the season’s golf is exhausted unless extra rounds are paid for. The system aims to curb weekend play and ease crowding as courses distance themselves from towns.
