Knollwood Club Plans a Mid-Pines Country Club
Knollwood Inc subscribes for 40 shares to form a new club with a $375,000 charter and $100,000 needed to begin. The project deeds 150 acres for a clubhouse and an 18 hole Donald Ross golf course with tennis courts. Aymar Embury II designs a brick veneer house with extensive facilities and a two phase build, aiming for opening November 1, 1921, or by January 1, 1922 at latest.
