Union Services Highlight Strong Attendance and Music
Last Sunday union services drew a large village crowd. Rev. C. M. Emery preached an impressive sermon followed by fine choral selections including Ye people rend your hearts and If with all your hearts we truly seek thee from Elijah. Sunday school had two large classes, with parents urged to cooperate. Episcopal service at 4 15 p m by Rev. Mr Gregory attracted a good audience, enhanced by an increased choir. 7 15 p.m. prayer and praise was the day’s best attended, led by Mr Sammis. February committee chairmen Rev Mr Dickinson and Messrs Robinson Sammis and Blick were appointed.
