Christmas Festivities And Village Sports In Pinehurst
A detailed account of a Christmas celebration in Pinehurst featuring a formal dinner with green and white decorations, a holly tree adorned with tinsel and glass ornaments, gifts for all ages, and gratitude expressed to hosts. The Power House Cafe hosted a large Christmas dinner for local workers. In the Village Green, residents enjoyed an extensive field sports program with numerous races, jumps, tug of war, greased pole climbing attempts, and concluding wrestling matches. A Holly Inn Orchestra program and a late dance at the Power House Cafe completed the celebrations.
