Many Christmas Trees At Pinehurst Festivities
Pinehurst hosted a Christmas celebration with sunny 63 degree weather. Hotels and halls offered elaborate dinners and gifts from a large village tree in the Village Hall. Santa Claus, aided by Dr. Harry Redan, distributed gifts as crowds cheered, while diverse hotel celebrations continued with orchestras, grand dinners, and cozy rooms. A future Village Hall program promises a professional concert and readings by a five-member company, with seats at the Village drug store.
