Training Camp to be Held at Established Post

The Sandhill Board of Trade and Mr. Roger Derby worked to secure Pinehurst as the Winter Military Training Camp site for the South. After discussions with General Wood and Captain Gordon Johnson on Governor's Island, the decision favored an established military post. The community leans into the project with enthusiasm, pledging support, and plans to recall for the coming encampment, with leadership expected as in Plattsburg.
