Victory in Guests' Purse Two Turns the Fables Edges Miss Abbe
Several old scores were settled at Wednesday's trotting and running races at the jockey club. Are Am Bee led Thomas stable to two straight wins while Rex and Traveller dueled for win after close finishes. The guests purse featured Chase the Tod dington line and jockeys Crocker Batchelor and Coombs in a sharp contest. Miss Abbe and Miss Bliss fought a rough but close clash as Nellie and Sam finished near. Swinnerton won with a paper crossing the line ahead of Farmer Boy.
