Berkshire Opens Pinehurst New Hotel With Dining Rooms

The Berkshire hotel on Magnolia road opened under manager W B Peck. The three‑section building offers a large dining room for about one hundred, steam heat, and electric lighting, with a bright reading room, offices, and ample sleeping rooms. Peck, veteran of Mt. Everett House, brings expert service and North Carolina pine interiors to Pinehurst’s growing winter resort.
