W E Wells of Oakmont claimed the Sixteenth Annual Autumn Tournament title at Pinehurst defeating C W Diebel of Youngstown 5 up 3 to play in the final. Wells led from start to finish, with Diebel’s best effort fading after an opening 4 down on the outward nine.
