Victory for Mr. Crocker in autumn golf tournament
George S H Crocker of Brookline Country Club won the ninth annual autumn tournament Presidents trophy with a seven and six victory over J E Kellogg of Alpine Golf. Foot’s steady play and Crocker’s superior tee shots decided key holes. Crocker also defeated John R Goodall and W S Rathbone in other rounds, while Kellogg beat competitors including G Glenn Woden and D N Jewett. The event drew 42 entrants on the first course, a record.
