Pinehurst School Leads With Individual Workin Village
The Pinehurst School session for 1911-12 opens with strong attendance and high quality work. It aims to blend serious study with winter resort life, offering Primary Intermediate and College Preparatory departments, private tutoring, and optional music lessons through the Carolina orchestra. Head Master Philip Llewellyn Lightbourn and Miss Molly E Abbe lead the school, housed in a well-lit, well-heated building southeast of the village green.
