During the past summer In ehurst has been active and better prepared to serve its growing visitors. The village emphasizes self sufficiency with enhanced golf course, improved utility plant, better roads, more transport options, ample water, powered facilities, and beautification across key departments to maintain its world class resort status.
The article outlines major golf course work including extending the nine hole to eighteen and extensive reseeding and Bermuda turf on the eighteen hole course. It notes excellent dairy production, new farm crops, expanding poultry and fruit outputs, and improvements in water, power, and rail service for the Village aided by the Moore County Agricultural and Development Association.
