Morson wins big at Pinehurst Mid-April Trap Tourney
H A Morson of Charlotte wins the North and South handicap the State championship and the State handicap at Pinehurst during the April 18 23 event. He opened with 93 in the North and South handicap then carried through the week with a high average and few misses. J D Clay of Houston places second in the North and South event while Norwood Johnson wins the Pinehurst introductory handicap. The Pinehurst Outlook reports the annual North Carolina Medical Society session and a racing exhibition by Annie Oakley drawing doctors away from meetings.
