Beall Wins Mid-April Golf Tourney Trophy
Ned Beall captures the Danforth Waters Bush and Newton Trophy at the Mid-April Tournament in Pinehurst after a 71 final round. Beall started with a 75 medal in qualifying, defeated C L Becker and E L Scofield Jr., and edged F M Danforth on the 17th green to claim the title. A Hartwell, J T Hunter, and M W Marr also posted strong showings as waters, Hudson, Champion, Bush, Newcomb and Newton earned consolation and division honors.
