New Theatre Plan Proposed To Relieve Overcrowding
A new theatre building is proposed this summer to address demand that far exceeds current capacity. Preliminary plans by architect Aymar Embury II envision a 835-seat house with a 250-seat gallery and income from shops. Charles Picquet, long in charge of Sand Hills cinema ventures, holds the plans and invites discussion and feedback from interested backers.
