Flamingo Polo Team Wins Sand Hills Trophy and Cup
The Flamingo polo team from Miami Beach won the Sand Hills trophy and the Southern Circuit Cup at Pinehurst after defeating Sand Hills 18 to 11 in the finals. Camp Bragg and Orange County, Fort Oglethorpe clubs also competed in the second annual tournament held March 30 to April 12.

Kirkover’s dogs win seven trophies at Medford field trials
Harry D. Kirkover, wintering near Pinehurst, reports his dogs dominated the English Letter Club of America field trials in Medford New Jersey winning seven trophies. Kirk’s Wonder Boy captured best bird work in the puppy stake while Kirk’s Fairy Beau took first in championship on the bench. Ashantee Dominant earned All Age and combined field and bench honors plus best bird work and obedience trophies.
