Mr. Ole Barr, about 30, was found dead in bed at his home near the Easley cotton mill Monday. Neighbors checked on him about noon and found him deceased. Dr. Gilliland stated death due to natural causes, likely Bright's disease, and no inquest was deemed necessary.
