Farmers Alliance gains power and political influence
The Farmers Alliance is described as a rapidly growing political force that has moved from a small cloud to a nationwide concern. The piece argues the movement arises from a perceived corrupt financial system, calls for abundant currency and anti monopoly measures, and says only the Democratic party can unite farmers with reform without wasting strength. It cites supporting Democratic principles and warns against third-party splits. The notice also advertises piano and organ sales in Columbia, D C, with several brands and six-year guarantees.
