In a Feb 5 1892 dispatch from Conumpra D C the South Carolina Board of Trade urges citizens to send delegates to a Columbia meeting on March 10 and 11 to form a representation plan for the World’s Columbian Exposition and elect five commissioners to execute it. The notice also states Methodist parsonage work will be bid on March 15 at the building, with bids to be opened to the lowest bidder and bids may be rejected.
