Teacher Receives State Certificate For Service At Richmond College
A letter dated October 29 1912 from the Virginia State Board of Education informs Prof W O Petty that after valuing his service the state will issue him a certificate. Petty taught the fall and winter terms of 1911 12 at Dacusville and is now teaching near Alexandria Virginia. The document also lists taxes and levies including school, county and district taxes, highway commutation tax, dog tax and related penalties.
