Prohibition Committee to Edit Coming Senti nel Issue
The county prohibition publicity committee will edit the next issue of The Senti nel. A revival at Fall Creek Baptist Church recently closed with seven additions and was praised as the best in five years led by Pastor R C Atkinson. Woodmen of the World from Pickens Oconee and Anderson counties plan a Clemson College basket picnic on Thursday August 26 with dinners provided for twenty five cents. G E Chapman of Griffin reports a large Stump the World peach weighing over three quarters of a pound and bigger than its taste. Miss Meda Boggs hosted about fifteen couples in honor of guests Miss Cunningham and Miss Robertson. Miss Cunningham and Mr Ralph Hester won prizes. Mr A J Pace Easley route 3 brought a sample of freak field peas with pods up to three feet long containing 18 to 20 red peas. Bowe will display some at the state fair.

Gilstrap Family Reunion Progress and Heritage Shared
The second annual Gilstrap reunion gathered 250 to 300 descendants near Easley at the old Hardy Gilstrap place. Rev. W H Gilstrap urged faith, noting about 1500 descendants, 3800 attended last year, and no deaths or serious illnesses in the past year. A large picnic followed amid family talks tracing Irish roots and pioneer history. Mr and Mrs P P McDaniel and others returned from a North Carolina trip.
