Jury Returns Guilty Verdict in Corley Murder Case

Two men fight. Britt fatally wounds Johnson at Perry’s yard
Florence April 16. Walter Britt and William Johnson, both colored, quarreled. Britt produced a concealed butcher knife and slashed Johnson, inflicting a deep wound near the heart.
