A large stock of pants is offered at drastic discounts in a closing out sale by Inman, Smith Co.'s Pants Factory. The advert promotes first class wear, style, fit and finish and lists prices such as 60 and 600 for various pants batches.
Local legal advertisements reveal multiple 1902 auctions and tax sales in Oconee and Seneca districts. Sheriff Moss lists foreclosures on parcels in London and Westminister, with public auctions in December. Wakulla and Edgefield notices include property in Oconee and Saluda counties among others.
In the Court of Common Pleas Oconee County South Carolina Masters Sales public sale by court decree. Albert Zimmerman plaintiff versus Ley Malloy and others defendants. Property described as forty acres more or less in Oconee County,Blodgett tract bounded by Henry Poole G W Phillips Philipas and A Zimmerman. Sale at Walhalla Court House on December 1st between legal hours. Purchaser pays papers. W C Withers Master for Oconee County. November 1, 1902.
A South Carolina notice from Oconee County describes a land parcel on Rice Creek of about 660 acres adjoining Janda of J. B. Allegans. The sale splits payment into one-half cash due now and the balance over twelve months, secured by a mortgage with a purchaser’s option to prepay, with interest to the purchaser for improvements. Charleston November 8 on charges of pernicious activity by Ki A1 Deas chairman of the State Republican organization Civil Service Examiner Fred Wannamaker heard Capers and Jucking, with Capers branded as a political dictator in South Carolina. The fight, sharpened at a Columbia hearing, exposes internal GOP strife as Republicans in Washington weigh Capers role. Local races showed weak support for the party, with Pat Hogee’s bid for Congress receiving under fifty votes. The State Baptist Convention and related ministerial gatherings are planned for Greenville December 1 2, highlighting ongoing political and religious divisions.
A pigskin graft on a severely burned colored girl was performed by Dr Stuart McGuire in Richmond. The operation, first of its kind, drew many physicians and students. The pigskin grew under observation to determine its viability as medical science advances.

Rev T I Gavin of the North Georgia Methodist Conference has charged libel against Rev De John Kilgo president of Trinity College. Supreme Court grants a new trial.
