About half past eleven last night the town awoke to a cry of fire from Reynolds street. Firefighters found the workshop engine room engulfed in flames. Only surrounding property seen was Ate Toph & Co.'s cotton warehouse, but wind favored the opposite direction and kept the blaze from spreading.
