Golden Wedding Celebrates Fifty Years of Marriage in South Carolina
Mr and Mrs J D Motnlongly celebrated their fiftieth wedding anniversary on Wednesday June 28. The couple, wed in 142 and now resident in Carolina country, have twelve children nine living and seventeen grandchildren. Their son served in the Civil War and one daughter died in infancy. The groom, a lay Anglican minister, has long served in Spare tuilours and surrounding counties. Relatives traveled from Texas to join the reunion and extend wishes for many more years of happiness.
