Fatal Gunfight in San Antonio Saloon
An unknown man about 85 was shot and killed by officers in a San Antonio saloon about 2 AM. Officers Taylor Harvey and Hughes engaged the man who drew a pistol. Harvey was grazed, Taylor fired three shots, one hitting the man in the heart. The dead man, about 36, was 5 feet 5 inches, 146 pounds, well dressed. Two pistols, two wallets with 100 and 240 in currency, 65 in bills in socks were found. The man had two speotache cages and no identifying papers.
